Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organised and analytical Logistics Manager to oversee all delivery logistics for Gett It. You will be responsible for planning routes, monitoring delivery performance, coordinating with drivers, and ensuring orders move smoothly from restaurants to customers. This role is essential for maintaining a fast, efficient, and scalable delivery operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily delivery logistics across East London
- Plan and optimise delivery routes to ensure fast and efficient service
- Monitor real-time delivery performance and resolve issues quickly
- Work closely with the Courier Manager to ensure driver availability
- Analyse delivery data to improve speed, efficiency, and cost control
- Coordinate with restaurants to ensure smooth order handovers
- Support customer service with escalated delivery issues
- Report operational insights to the CEO and Operations Manager
- Ensure compliance with company standards and delivery procedures
Requirements
- Experience in logistics, delivery operations, fleet management, or similar roles
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly to operational issues
- Good communication and problem-solving ability
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Experience with delivery platforms or route-planning tools is a bonus
