Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and organised HR Manager to oversee all human resources functions at Gett It. You will be responsible for recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance with employment law. This is an on-site role where you will work closely with the CEO and operations team to ensure smooth staffing and a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment and hiring processes across all departments
  • Oversee onboarding and training for new staff
  • Develop HR policies and ensure compliance with UK employment law
  • Handle employee relations, performance reviews, and disciplinary procedures
  • Maintain accurate HR records and documentation
  • Support payroll coordination with external accountants
  • Advise management on HR best practices and workforce planning
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and professional workplace culture
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to align staffing with business needs

Requirements

  • Proven experience in HR management or senior HR roles
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR compliance
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive issues with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Confident in recruitment, onboarding, and staff development
  • Ability to work on-site in East London (no remote working)
  • Experience in startups, delivery platforms, or fast-growth businesses is a bonus
