Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and organised Courier Manager to oversee all driver-related operations. You will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, training, and supporting delivery drivers to ensure they are fully prepared for launch day and beyond. This role is essential for maintaining a strong, efficient, and professional driver network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit and onboard new delivery drivers
  • Verify driver documents (ID, insurance, right to work, etc.)
  • Ensure drivers receive the correct tools and equipment
  • Train drivers on delivery procedures, app usage, and customer service
  • Manage driver schedules and availability
  • Handle driver support, complaints, and performance issues
  • Monitor delivery performance and ensure high standards
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to improve delivery efficiency
  • Maintain strong communication with drivers across the network

Requirements

  • Experience in courier management, fleet coordination, logistics, or similar roles
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage and support a large team of drivers
  • Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Experience with delivery platforms is a bonus
